I had to read The Awakening by Kate Chopin in high school and I remember hating it. Granted, that was many moons ago! I’m a ridiculous bookworm but since contemporary fiction seems to be my genre of choice and I’m always looking to expand my horizons, I would be game for a classic such as The Age of Innocence or The House of Mirth.
Though truth be told, there are some prime pickings in this past weekend’s NYT Book Review. Just saying :)
